Thank you to everyone who suggested a theme for the week. We have decided to go with the theme of ................................ Movies!!!
The reason we chose movies was to make the second week more challenging. So you can model anything from your favourite movie, It could be a lightsaber, the ring from lord of the rings or even jaws from jaws it's completely up to you! Remember the model can be with or without a texture and it can be either low or high poly. Tell your friends about 3d friday, the more people enter, the more feedback you will get!
Happy Modelling!
Top Tip! If your finding it hard to think of an object you can create, play this fun flash game for inspiration! http://famousobjectsfromclassicmovies.com
3D Friday is a weekly challenge for all 3D artists from around the world to take part in. The challenge is too create an 3D object based on the weekly suggested topic and all entry's will be shown. It can be a clay, wireframe or textured render of the object and it can be as high or low poly as you like it's up too you! It's a great way to boost your portfolio and to get feedback on your work by other 3d artists.

Jack Osborn - Tardis
Description: A low poly Tardis from the latest doctor who series complete with diffuse, normal and ambient occlusion maps.
Thanks to the comment and tip from Fraser I've added a specular colour map to my model which really gives it a new dimension in colour and detail, and overall looks more realistic. Thanks Fraser ;)
Fraser Colley - Alien
Description: With the broad subject of sci-fi I decided to brush up on some zBrush and bust out a...bust. Started fairly simple with extending the neck and back of the head, then added details and other cool things as I went along which turned out like this.
